(Senior) Backend Developer (w/m/d) Big Data

Your tasks

  • Development of data-intensive and high-traffic backend applications with Python, Java and PHP
  • Developing our ETL track processing 2 TB data a day
  • Further development of our reporting system in ADITION adserving
  • Working hand-in-hand with our DevOps team for releasing new functions (continuous integration)
  • Analyzing existing systems and their continuous improvement in teamwork

Your profile

  • Final degree in computer science or equivalent education
  • Funded experience with Python or one JVM programming language, ideally Java
  • Experience with Linux shell
  • Ideally experience with NoSQL (Aerospike, Cassandra or HBase), real-time data processing (Storm, Spark) or MySQL
  • Knowledge of Big Data systems would be a plus
  • Experience with building APIs would be a plus
  • Teamplayer, strong communication skills and curiosity
